Dry fly time…

Stan Hales, battling through the hail for big one! Photo: Hank Bechard

We had some heavy rain and even hail roll through yesterday afternoon.  The fishing was excellent both before and after the storm, both on dries and streamers.   The Lamar did slope up a little but didn’t spike as hard as it could have.  Looking at the radar last night the worst part of the storms skirted to the north of the Park, (which is why the Shield’s spiked today).  We expect the river to be fishable tomorrow and the next day still, give us a call on where to find the green is good water… 406-222-7130.

Bert Cooper and Paul Bloch, locked on dries all morning before the storm!
